The Problem
Focusing on Canadian challenges and global solutions, SingularityU Canada Summit is creating a two-way bridge, connecting local communities to international networks, uniting innovators, thinkers, and doers with the mission to create a positive impact.
To connect all of these great minds, SingularityU Canada Summit needed a platform for their event. It means the website needed to be UX-friendly and have the ticket purchasing feature.
The Solution
Wiredelta® had worked with SingularityU Denmark before when working on a website for them. So there are no doubts that we were pleased when we were chosen for building a website for SingularityU Canada Summit. Wiredelta came up with a WordPress-based solution to meet SingularityU Canada Summit needs. The design is minimalistic and clean, so it is easy to use and find the right information.
The top menu indicates the path to take depending on the information that you would need for the summit. Wiredelta also integrated a ticket purchasing function directly to the website by using Bizzabo plugin. It does not only sell the regular tickets, but it also gives the option to buy “early bird” tickets.
Moreover, the online platform offers an easy-to-follow schedule of the summit. Giving the attendees the possibility to reach the timetable anytime. It helps them to know which talk is taking place.
By making an event calendar page it is possible to browse through all the different speakers and get to know them better. Participants were also able to add each of the events to their calendar so that they don’t miss anything.
